| The frames of contemporary mirrors can be heavier than in previous times, but the clean lines allow the use of exotic veneers or special finishes. The edges of mirrors which have no frames are often embellished with applied smaller mirror pieces cut in straight lines and etched or coloured. Illustrated are two metal framed mirrors. |
